(d/b/a) Hippo Industries began as a family operated specialty industrial product company serving the North East in 1983.  The husband and a wife operated business continued to build on its early success, growing to a corporation distributing a wide range of Industrial and Environmental Products right to the doorsteps of Small Businesses, Educational and Medical Institutions, Power & Water Authorities, City, State and Federal Municipalities.

Now operated by their sons, Hippo Industries has invited major name brand

manufacturers in it's alliance. Note: 1-10 days no restocking fee will be applied. 11-30 days - 15% restocking fee. After 30 days no returns will be accepted.

All orders & check outs go through our 128 bit SSL-secured server for your protection. As a customer, we want you to know that we don't store your credit card information.  As a valued customer, we never sell nor rent our customer names. 

Payments

For your convenience we accept Master Card, Visa, Discover and American Express. 

We can also offer Net Terms to pre-qualified customers. Please fax your credit application to, Accounts at (516)624-9860.  If you have an account with us, please press the link for "Sign In".  You will be allowed to
enter your Purchase Order # when ordering.

Shipping Terms

We ship all products the same day via UPS or Freight Carrier depending upon the weight and size and charges are conveniently added to your bill (Pre-Paid & Added to Invoice or Credit Card). Certain large or bulky items (e.g.: cabinets & machines) and some chemicals cannot be shipped via UPS and they must go out on a freight carrier. Most orders will arrive at your location within 1-3 business days ARO.  

Minimums

*Due to our competitive prices and high cost of daily operations, we have been forced to set a  minimum of $55.00 per order. We truly value our customers and we also understand that at times you may need to place orders under $50.00. *To accommodate you, all orders under $55.00 will be charged a $5.00 surcharge. 

Shipping Costs:

Free shipping on most orders over $2000.00 except Absorbents, Spill Products, Containment Products, Steel Safety Cabinets, Steel Bollards and any and all Eagle Products.    We use UPS, Fed Ex or Freight Carrier depending upon the weight/size of the order. We will ship the most cost effective way possible for you so that you save money on freight.

Returns

Most products can be returned within 7 business days by filling a customer return form.  There is a restocking charge of 20% on all products returned plus you will be responsible for the return freight charges to us as well as the incoming freight charges of the products delivered to you.  Please call our customer service for more information at (516)624-9774. Please do not refuse shipment upon arrival unless damaged. Do not accept damaged shipments otherwise you will not be eligible for returns.  You are advised to call in for a return authorization.
